How we work to keep Bali’s landscapes, culture, and communities intact for the travellers who come after us.
Luxury and responsibility are not opposites. Our sustainability work focuses on four areas: emissions reduction within our fleet, ethical employment practices, partner selection in line with our values, and active support for Bali’s cultural and environmental heritage.
Our fleet is kept under three years old, which means newer, more efficient engines on every transfer. We are progressively introducing hybrid Mercedes V-Class and hybrid Alphard variants where they are available in the Indonesian market, and route planning emphasises efficiency — reducing kilometres while improving the guest experience.

Our chauffeurs are full-time employees, not freelance contractors. They receive structured training, fair wages benchmarked above market norms, health coverage, and paid leave. We are deliberate about retention — many of our chauffeurs have been with the company for years.
Operational supplies — from cabin water and refreshments to vehicle maintenance services — are sourced locally wherever quality and reliability allow. Our partner restaurants and accommodation properties are predominantly Indonesian-owned and -operated.
We brief every chauffeur on Balinese Hindu ceremonial practice (Galungan, Kuningan, Nyepi, temple anniversaries) and integrate respect for these traditions into our routing. Guests are gently briefed on temple etiquette and modesty when entering sacred spaces.

We adhere to plastic-reduction practices in vehicle service (reusable glass bottles for in-cabin water are being introduced; single-use plastics minimised), and we support Bali-based environmental initiatives through our Juara Holding Group community programme.

Sustainability is treated as a strategic discipline, not a marketing slogan. Annual reporting against our internal targets is reviewed at the Juara Holding Group level, with year-on-year improvement tracked across emissions, local sourcing, and community impact.
