- Carbon Offset Program: We calculate the carbon emissions from every journey our vehicles make. We then partner with the Indonesian non-profit organization, Jejak.in, to invest in certified carbon offset projects, primarily focused on mangrove reforestation in coastal areas of Indonesia, which are critical for both carbon sequestration and marine biodiversity.
- No Single-Use Plastics: Our entire fleet has a strict no-single-use-plastic policy. We provide complimentary water to our clients in reusable glass bottles, sourced from a local Balinese social enterprise. All other amenities are provided with biodegradable or non-plastic packaging.
- Fleet Efficiency: We are progressively transitioning our fleet to hybrid and electric vehicles as suitable models become available and charging infrastructure in Bali matures. In the interim, all vehicles undergo rigorous monthly maintenance to ensure optimal fuel efficiency and minimal emissions.
- Water Conservation: Our vehicle cleaning process utilizes a water-saving high-pressure system, reducing water consumption by over 60% compared to traditional methods.
Community Empowerment
Our business is intrinsically linked to the well-being of the local community. We are committed to being a positive force for local employment and economic development.
- Local Employment: Over 95% of our team, including our chauffeurs and operations staff, are hired from local Balinese communities. We believe in providing stable, high-quality employment that offers professional development and long-term career paths. We provide full BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (social security) and health benefits to all employees.
- Supporting Local Enterprises: We prioritize sourcing from local businesses. The refreshments in our vehicles, the uniforms for our staff, and the maintenance services for our fleet are all sourced from Balinese-owned companies whenever possible.
- Community Investment: A percentage of our annual profit is dedicated to a community development fund. Our current focus is supporting the ‘Yayasan Anak Bangsa Bisa’ foundation, which provides educational scholarships and digital literacy programs for underprivileged youth in rural Balinese villages.
